Level Up Stats now has the beginning of a real public build log system.
This is a small test post, but it represents a bigger shift: instead of product updates disappearing into private notes, patch names, and late-night dev chaos, the best changes can now become public changelog posts.
That means customers, testers, and curious business owners can see that Level Up Stats is actively improving.
What changed
We added the first working version of the Built in Public Publisher, a WordPress plugin designed to help turn live product changes into clean public updates.
The plugin supports:
- A dedicated Built in Public settings screen
- Token-protected REST endpoints
- Draft and publish modes
- Duplicate protection
- Recent activity logging
- A changelog shortcode for displaying recent updates on the site
- A ChatGPT Action schema that lets an assistant create posts through the secure endpoint
Why it matters
Level Up Stats is being built like a game, but it still needs trust.
A public build log helps show that the product is alive, bugs are being fixed, features are improving, SEO missions are getting smarter, and the system is becoming more useful every week.
What is next
The next step is connecting Level Up Stats patch history directly to this publishing flow.
Once that is live, changelog posts can be generated from real product changes, cleaned up into plain English, and published as updates people actually want to read.
For now, this post is the first official test.
The build log is online.
Game on.
Built in public means we share the thinking behind the product, not just the final polish.
