How does the reward system work?

What happens when I complete a mission?
When you complete a mission, you earn XP and coins, your progress updates, and your level may increase. You will also see celebration effects, updated rewards in the header, and mission history that reflects your progress.
Most importantly, your site improves. That is the real reward.
What is the leaderboard?
The leaderboard ranks users based on overall performance. The score is based on things like XP earned, missions completed, consistency, and overall activity.
Only gamertags are shown, not personal data.
How does the system know what to suggest?
Level Up Stats pulls data from sources like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, and Bing Webmaster Tools. It combines that data with AI to identify opportunities, suggest improvements, and generate missions tailored to your site.
What does Verify mean on a mission?
Some missions can be automatically checked. For example, internal links can be scanned and confirmed after you add them. That means rewards can be based on real completed work instead of simple button clicks.
Why am I seeing suggestions like create a landing page?
Sometimes your homepage ranks for multiple keywords. Instead of overloading the homepage, Level Up Stats may suggest creating a dedicated page for a specific keyword and supporting it with internal links. That usually gives you a better shot at ranking for that topic without weakening the homepage.
What if I skip a mission?
Skipped missions will not be rewarded, and they should not keep resurfacing as if they are still active. Skipping helps you clear out tasks that are not relevant so the system can focus on better opportunities. It also helps the system learn more about your business and what your goals are.
Do I need to install a plugin?
If you are using WordPress, the plugin is strongly recommended. It helps Level Up Stats verify changes, improve syncing, and support more advanced actions over time.
Without it, you can still complete missions manually.
How does the WordPress plugin work?
The Level Up Connector plugin links your WordPress site directly to Level Up Stats so you can fix SEO issues without leaving your dashboard.
When a mission is marked as plugin-supported, you’ll see a Fix It For Me option. Clicking it sends the update, such as title tags, meta descriptions, or other on-page SEO improvements, straight to your website through the plugin.
Once applied, Level Up Stats automatically verifies the change, confirms it matches the recommended fix, and awards your XP and rewards.
You still stay in control. You can review changes before applying them, and only approved updates are pushed live.
Is the WordPress plugin safe, and what happens to my changes if I remove it?
Yes. The Level Up Connector is designed to be safe, transparent, and fully under your control.
When you apply a fix, the plugin uses secure WordPress methods to update your site’s actual content and SEO fields, such as titles, meta descriptions, headings, and on-page elements. These changes are saved directly to your WordPress site, just like if you edited them manually.
That means your fixes are permanent. If you ever deactivate or uninstall the plugin, your optimized titles, descriptions, and content stay in place.
Level Up Stats does not rely on temporary overlays, hidden scripts, or “virtual” SEO changes that disappear later. The plugin applies approved updates cleanly using native WordPress functionality, which helps keep your site fast, stable, and compatible with your theme, plugins, and SEO tools.
